TxEEE Welcomes New Cohort of Master’s Students
New student orientation which happened Aug. 18, 2022 is always an exciting day for Texas Engineering Executive Education (TxEEE) as it brings together the new faces of our three master’s degree programs in one place to meet, share and prepare.
While the geographic backgrounds and companies represented couldn’t be more varied, the students’ objectives are consistent – gain new knowledge to grow professionally.
This new cohort of TxEEE master’s students is pursuing degrees in Engineering Management, Software Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The students come from across Texas, the U.S., and many other countries, such as Turkey, Kazakhstan, United Arab Emirates and India. Industries represented include manufacturing, aerospace, pharma, service, automotive, chip manufacturing, energy, and retail, to name a few.
Orientation included serious sessions about program processes and workflows and ice-breaking activities that revealed a range of interesting hobbies such as quidditch, sewing, trumpet playing and esoteric coding. The day wrapped up at Posse East, a legendary UT and Cockrell School hangout for over 50 years.
We wish this new cohort the best of luck and cannot wait to see What Starts Here! Welcome and Hook Em Horns!
