graduate students participating in Torq demoThree (Option III)* Master of Science in Engineering degrees are offered through TxEEE in engineering management (hybrid), mechanical engineering (online) and software engineering (in person).

TxEEE’s flagship master’s in engineering management is one of only 11 programs in the world certified by the American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM). TxEEE’s master’s in mechanical engineering was the first online master’s degree launched at UT when it became an option in 2016. The degree offers the exact same credentials as the Option I degree. The master’s in software engineering requires in-person attendance which has proven to be a point of distinction for the program. Students benefit from rich classroom experiences, industry-sponsored projects, and invaluable networking opportunities with peers, faculty, and industry leaders.

In addition to the master’s degrees, TxEEE offers a spectrum of open enrollment short courses, conferences, certificate programs, and custom training solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of engineering professionals and technology companies.

TxEEE is also home to the Petroleum Extension (PETEX) and Health and Safety Training Center (HSTC), providing comprehensive training and continuing education options for the energy and mining sectors, respectively.

*Option III Master of Science degrees in Engineering are no different than the Option I Master of Science degrees, other than their schedule of classes and format. They are designed for working professional who want to balance their studies with their careers.
