TxEEE graduates celebrate at UT Littlefield Fountain

May 2024 was a banner graduation season for Texas Engineering Executive Education (TxEEE), the Cockrell School of Engineering and The University of Texas at Austin.

Festivities kicked off with the TxEEE graduation dinner at the AT&T Center on campus in late April attended by our graduates and their families. Master of Ceremonies was Konavis Smith, TxEEE director of Strategic Partnerships and Programs. Master’s Degree Program Directors Eric Bickel (Engineering Management), Vijay Garg (Software Engineering) and Ofodike Ezekoye (Mechanical Engineering), along with TxEEE Executive Director Woodrow W. Winchester III, congratulated the graduates as part of the ceremony.

TxEEE and the program directors were thrilled to share this momentous occasion with our graduates. These dedicated professionals, balancing work and studies, reached a significant milestone, and the dinner was a chance to reflect on their hard work and commitment.

Next up was the Cockrell School of Engineering Master’s and Ph.D. Commencement Celebration in the Engineering Education and Research Center on May 9. TxEEE graduates joined more than 250 master and 120 Ph.D. recipients who crossed the stage to shake hands with Cockrell School Dean Roger Bonnecaze with family and friends cheering.  Some of TxEEE’s graduates also attended the university-wide ceremony in the Daryl K. Royal Memorial Stadium on Saturday evening with a culminating champagne splash in the Littlefield Fountain in the shadow of the burnt orange UT Tower.

Empowered by their new degrees, this graduating class is ready to advance their careers. Each of the three TxEEE master’s programs offers a unique path for working professionals to enhance their skills and broaden their knowledge.

Our graduates work at companies such as Dell Technologies, Amazon Web Services, United States Airforce, Linde Engineering, Oracle, Bell Flights, 3M, Broadcom, Baker Hughes and TORC Robotics.

The Cockrell School of Engineering takes immense pride in its graduates. Congratulations to the Class of 2024!
