 CLEE welcomed new Executive Director, Dr. Eric Roe in January 2015.

Eric Roe, former director of Applied Technology at Polk State College in Florida and founder of the Manufacturing Talent Development Institute, has been named the executive director of the Center for Lifelong Engineering Education (CLEE) in the Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin.  New ENM Program Director, Dr. Bruce McCann

A longtime course instructor and UT Adjunct Faculty member, Dr. McCann teaches for both the Option III SWE and ENM programs. Dr. McCann is serving as Director through August 2015, while Dr. Steve Nichols is out on leave.

Dr. Caroline Bartel

Joined the program as instructor for the Managing People & Organizations class formerly taught by Dr. Kyle Lewis. Dr. Bartel is an Associate Professor with the McCombs School of Business. Her research interests include: Collaboration, Managerial, Group, & Org Decision Making, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Identification Processes.

 New ENM Faculty Member
Dr. Norm Kaderlan

Joined the program in January and will be teaching Advanced Marketing Management formerly taught by Dr. Stephen Walls. Dr. Kaderlan is a former Director of the Austin Technology Incubator and President of Technology Innovation Group.

 New Option III Program approval!

The online program offering a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering is scheduled to accept its first cohort in Spring 2016. The Option III ME program will build on UTís reputation as a premier institution in energy research and will offer several track option.
