As an Engineering Management student, your network expands dramatically:
- Learn about other job opportunities from your classmates.
- Stay in Texas! Tap into the engineering and tech industry in Texas’ urban areas.
- Take advantage of UT-sponsored corporate networking and recruiting events spanning many industries.
The degree coursework was all good. I especially enjoyed the organizational design/people management course that was so enlightening about team cultures and business outcomes. Also, corporate finance was probably the most impactful course for me, teaching me how to read financial statements, understanding the company’s stock market trends and what that means to our team. Since graduation, I’ve been a manager for 12-plus years with three companies. The degree has served me well.
